Vijay Madhavan is a post-graduate from India with Awards in Financial Planning from Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), U.K. He is associated with Mr. Michael Jans, founder of Agency Revolution, a renowned insurance agency training organisation in the USA. He started his carrier in insurance 1982 as an insurance agent with Life Insurance Corporation of India. He joined Max New York Life Insurance Company in 2002 as a Sales Manager.

He came to UAE in 2006 and joined Nexus Insurance Brokers as an Insurance consultant and become one among the ten top producers in Nexus within 4 years. Later in 2015, he joined Gateway Insurance brokers as sales director. He has been training and developing the insurance consultants and team managers in UAE for more than six years.

Vijay Madhavan Joined Petra Insurance Brokers in 2017 as sales director with more than 35 years of progressive experience in the field of Insurance, Wealth Management, Sales & Marketing, Relationship Management, Financial Planning and Training & Development.

He is very passionate and an expert in providing business protection and shareholders’ protection with a different approach. He is an adept in Compliance and Anti Money Laundering Procedures.

He has in-depth knowledge of conventional insurance & investment products developed by world-class providers. Thorough with Fact-Finding exercises using SPIN and other persuading techniques such as Concept Selling, Consultative Selling, Integrity Selling, Story Selling and Dream Downloading. Initiative and self-directed to identify new market opportunities and trends. Team and Consensus building through influential behavioural techniques and effective mentoring.

Acknowledged for his genuine passion to excel in any given task and the ability to motivate and interact seamlessly with people of all backgrounds and levels. He is an advocate of continuous learning and development particularly on teamwork, communication, leadership, analytical and multi-tasking skills and a well-developed interpersonal & presentation skills, to exceed performance goals and customer service requirements.
